Staging your property involves much more than simply getting rid of clutter and rearranging furniture. Professional home stagers are trained to identify and enhance the features that will sell your home.

How home staging works... Preparing a property to sell involves three steps

The Consultation

We offer two types of consultations for home staging.

  • Our basic consultation fee is just $75.00 + gst and involves determining which of our services fit your needs. Together we will find the plan that works for you, respecting time and budget constraints, and start the process of staging your property. This service becomes complimentary upon agreement for home staging services.
  • Our second consultation option involves our Professional stager viewing the property and providing a 56 page custom report detailing what improvements should be completed to maximize the potential for a fast and equitable sale.

The Preparation

This is where the 'suggestions' are executed. It will be your choice to undertake this step yourself, or to have your stager orchestrate this process. This involves lining up the appropriate trades (painters, flooring, cleaning, etc) needed. Many homeowners decide to complete this step themselves, as it is a great way to save money. However, if desired, your home stager will be happy to have this step executed for you.

The Showcasing

The 'showcasing' is where you will be amazed. Your home stager will use her knowledge of spatial planning, focal point designation, scale and balance, and lifestyle element placement to show your property at its maximum selling potential. We will ensure your property shows perfectly to the buyer most likely to purchase your home. This step can be done using the sellers' existing furnishings to create drastic change and visual improvement, or using rental furnishings. This service includes one 'open house showcasing' which involves a return visit from your home stager to fine-tune things prior to your open house.

This service is the most important; as it produces the final vision you will present to prospective buyers and help sell your house.
